This is a space cruiser design I'm thinking of using in a story involving Catherine. The cruiser was inspired by the legendary anime, Space Battleship Yamato. Though similar to the Yamato, there are significant differences that sets the two ships apart. For example, the cruiser has cannons on both the top & the bottom unlike the Yamato. Despite that the cruiser is more practical in air/space combat, the cruiser can't land in water or any other water-like liquid unlike the Yamato. The Yamato also uses the Wave-Motion engine for propulsion as opposed to the propulsion system in the cruiser which uses the collapsible black hole engine. Collapsible black hole engines harness the power of collapsible black holes to perpetually spin the turbines to power energy into the ship like a generator and as a propulsion system. A collapsible black hole is an artificially made black hole that will safely collapse if its mass is changed.
A: The Command Bridge. Because of the vitality of the bridge, there is a much stronger concentration of energy shielding to protect the bridge.
B: Main Battery Cannons. As said before, theses cannons are located at the top and the bottom of cruiser. Each cannon can angle from 0 to 35 degrees, but only to what is in front of or to the side of it. The main battery cannons are used for destroying large targets like rogue asteroids or enemy ships.
C: Ship-to-Air/Space Battery Guns. Unlike the main battery cannons, the SAS guns are design to take down smaller targets like fighter jets.
D: Ship to Air/Space Missile Launchers: Self explanatory.
E: Port/Starboard Battery Cannons. Muck like the main battery cannons only these guns are cable of revolving around at 360 degress and are used to assist the main battery cannons.
F: The Intake: This is the intake for the CBH engine that can be used in atmospheric environments where gravity can pull on the ship and maneuver against wind resistance. In Space, the intake is shielded to prevent debris from entering and damaging the inside. This is due to the fact that there's no friction. To increase speed, the CBH engine would create energy recoil blasts. Kind of like how some submarines can have both a diesel and a electric engine.
G: The Exhaust. Self explanatory.
