Wow, another picture so soon, I'm kind of on a roll...

This is a picture a friend of mine, Idai-Kitsune, made for me as lineart a few days back. This is Parnell, though a new look for him as he now looks similar to how I am in reality. For those who don't know what the changes are, he now has brown hair, a brown beard, and his face mask uses a prescription lens as he now wears glasses.

I ended up coloring this in one sitting within 2 hours. I decided to try a new coloring scheme for his suit, namely black and green. Have to say I like it, and I also had gotten the courage to shade it. Part of the shading I'm not too sure on (like his left arm), but the majority of it I feel I did well on.

The bubbles were done with a new trick I came up with on the spot (as a bit of just fun). Basically, I was just screwing around and played with the air brush tool on GIMP, and discovered that it actually makes it seem like the bubbles are shining and moving within the picture itself. So I've decided to keep that little trick for future use.
