Munitions grade spearhead

Proof that our lupine hero is a blacksmith. I have been spending more time at the forge in order to prepare for several spring cons.
This head came out on the rough side. The point is straight with the socket and the edge sharp. I hindsight I should have thinned the socket metal more and left it longer. It will still mount to a shaft fine but I think I will put a reinforcing band at the bottom when I do. The second model will be much more refined given the lessons learned.
In summary, not the prettiest piece of iron but well suited to end a foebeast.

It's a good piece!
Indeed we are few in this day and age but I am thankful that most of us are willing to pass along the knowledge to keep the trade alive.
I would like to learn how to do farrier work as there is a market for it out here.
