Oh yummy yarn. Of course I don't eat it, but it feels so nice on my face. I love the smell of some nice wool. So does my kitty. True fact he prefers the wool mouse toys over the acrylic mouse toys.

Depends on who ya talking to. Most yarn weather it be cotton, wool or acrylic depends on the quality. I knit so I've been through some yarn. Key thing for knitters is do we enjoy the feel of the yarn because we do have to touch pretty much every inch of ### of yards. Good quality wool, like Merino wool is softer than nice acrylic. Different breeds of sheep makes different wool. I like alpaca or lama especially baby alpaca or baby lama. Silk and bamboo are soft but summer yarns. So the answer is yes in my opinion, but you might find some folks argue that point.
