This little likeness of Shadow the Weasel was crafted by an unknown glassblower way back in 1982. I gave him a simple sketch of Shadow and he made this for me. The figure is slightly over two inches tall, as indicated by the windowsill he's standing on. Eyes and tail tip were painted by the glassblower.
He has a slight crack in his side, which probably occurred sometime during our moving from California to Florida and back again.
While this is not the first photo I've uploaded, it is the first one I've submitted that was taken on the new digital camera I got for my birthday this morning. Expect more photos of unusual items to follow in the days to come...

Not really. 'Fraid I just don't remember who did the glass Shadow -- I was attending college in Washington State back in 1982, and there was a crafts fair going on in the student union building when the itinerant glassblower showed up. I don't think he had a business card or anything, so he could have been anyone. (My memory is so bad, I'm not even positive whether the glassblower was a man or a woman!)
