I was under the impression that there was no "lower class" in the US, per say. I can't remember who told me that or why, but I think it was something to do with just lumping them with the middle class? I dunno.

We've got plenty of lower class. i suppose I'm one, myself. I'm definitely below the poverty line, have a medical condition for which I get welfare, and have debts I cannot hope to pay.
