Eddie Dombrowski
Old art of a severely underappreciated character, Eddie from Silent Hill 2.
He's definitely not a fan favorite and I can see why, considering he's a creepy fat guy who tries to kill the hero, but like everybody else in that game, he's a really complicated, interesting, and chilling character.
I really ought to draw him more often.

If you take the disk and put it into a pc, you can pull up the audio from the game. In subfolder of a subfolder, there is an audiofile that isn't used in the game. Its a recording of random sounds of ambience of a happy day at the park: Children playing, children laughing, a dog barking. Then a gunshot as the dog makes a yelp of death as you can clearly tell it was the dog that was shot, and children screaming. Me and my friend think that the main character is crazy and is in an actual city, but just like the woman in the graveyard and Eddie, his crazy means that normal people look like monsters. This would explain that lady's reaction when you killer her "father" in that one part, Because you were really just a crazy man breaking into a house and killing her dad
That's a pretty cool interpretation, but I think the story of SH2 is pretty solid on its own without a "SECRETLY YOU'RE JUST CRAZY" twist, especially since the game already shows the hero is crazy and delusional before learning the truth anyway. :)
The audio was probably intended to be a flashback to when Eddie shot the football coach and killed the dog before he fled to Silent Hill to get away from the police.

SH2 was a creepy game as a whole but Eddie? Eddie was one of the most disturbing parts to me. It really got to me how EASY it was to completely fall apart like he did. Just an ordinary guy and within a few days, perfectly happy to kill people like it's nothing. After I finished the fight with him I had to put the controller down for a while. So, maybe not exactly my favorite character, but he made for some mighty chilling moments.
