- has had rough dealings with humans in the past, and so they keep to themselves more than some other clans
Mated clan: Leastron Huill clan – “west breeze gone” clan
Habitat:
- tropical or temperate mountain regions with thick forests
- large caves or dens
- some clans prefer areas with as few humans/humanoid inhabitance
- most get along well with humans/humanoid populations
Size:
- males are typically larger than females, in all ways, but not by drastic amounts
- they are relatively small dragons compared to the most well known like red dragons or black dragons; this is due to their habitat

height at shoulder: 8-10 feet approx
length from nose to tip of tail: 30-35 feet approx
wing span: 60 feet and over
b. hatchling
height at shoulder: 3 -4 feet approx
length from nose to tip of tail: 9-12 feet approx

Society:
- live individually or with a mate/young
- have a larger society, an extended family called a clan
- can choose to have a mate for life or stay alone
Clans:
- are made up of Quatarrs in a certain region
- lead by the clan elders who have the personality and experience to fill three main positions:
1) warrior/guardian - military
2) wiseman/teacher - knowledge
3) ambassador – world culture
4) mother/care taker – home & family
- equality in these positions, neither males or females preferred
- meet sparcely in times of peace, and often in times of war
- typical reasons to meet during peace times
a. ceremonies
b. traditional times of the year (summer/winter solstice)
c. revealing of the younglings at their 13th birthdays
d. etc
Language:
- traditional draconic
- human and/or other humanoid such as Elvish
- localized dialects of the above
Religion:
- teach respect for all things
- believe in a haven in the stars, a sort of dragon heaven
- live with nature, not against it
- follow old standing traditions passed down from generation to generation
Development:
1) toddler: 0 – 1 year old
2) adolescent/prepubescent: 1-13, only with the parents until age 13 then
revealed to entire clan
3) teen/young adult: 12-20
4) breeding age: 20ish, typically venture from home and/or clan
5) adult: 20-700
6) 500-700: less chance of having a clutch of eggs, also more risky
7) elder/post breeding ability: 700-1000 or dead
Magic Abilities:
- each are born with a natural nack or talent for one of the following (though they can learn and care capable of all abilities)
a. healing: novices cannot replace missing flesh/blood ex: lost limb can’t be regrown by a novice
b. fighting (energy balls/waves/etc):novices have a harder time controlling these
c. illusions: a ability that is more rare, novices don’t always know they are making them and when they do, they usually have trouble reproducing the illusion
Colors/markings:
- main colors must be one or a combination of the following
a. black
b. gray
c. white
d. brown
e. tan/yellows
- accent color must be one or more shade(s) of blue
- males have brighter shades and more dramatic/striking markings and tones than females
- markings can be anything from spots to stripes to fading from one main color to another, or a combination of the previously mentioned
