3 years ago on Xmas eve our new pup was to come home to us. he was 8 weeks old and had his shots the day before.. i called to find out when hes coming home.. and they told me he had to be put down.. the shots had made him sick and was killing him.. so we lost our boy also..
we were so sad.. but i did not give up.. and come the day after boxing day.. home came Crash..hes a good dog.. he lays beside me as i type this.. all things happen for a reason they say.. i have NO idea why a pup should have to go so soon.. but ours did and in came Crash.. who is a great dog who loves us and will protect me till the end.. and we love him to bits.

its been so hard... it was a freak accident... I'm so scared to get a new pup for fear the same thing could happen, but many have assured me the likely hood of it happening is slim to none... In time I may get a puppy, but not for a few more months at the very least.
yeah i hate when bad stuff happens.
every time we get shots for a pet i flip out.. it scares me soo bad.. i just got a service dog pup and when i took him in i was so scared.. sady.. we did have to rush him to the vet.. the shots were killing him also.. BUT the vet told me its an easy fix.. gave him a shot and some meds and he was fine in about 2 days. now he has to have one other shot with all the stuff he has done.. just so nothing will happen again.
and when you get a new pup.. he will be just as loved. but give your self some time to heal first.. it was not as hard on us cuz we never met our pup.. but he will always be in our hearts.
