In case any of you have been wondering what the bloody goat I've been up to this past month, here he is: Wolfie the Wolf.
A stuffed puppet made to be the news anchor for a High School in Port Orchard.
So, if you're a student, (or staff member), of a high school in Port Orchard, chances are that you'll be seeing this fuzzy fellow on your local news channel.
This little guy ended up with a total cost close to $200.
I know, I almost couldn't believe it, myself.
I will say that the range of motion and facial expression this little guy has is fairly impressive considering all he is is microfleece, flannel, and fluff.
Yehp, that's microfleece. It's much fuzzier, (and softer), than faux fur without a lot of the hassles that come part-and-parcel with faux fur.
Not that it didn't have it's own hassles. Microfleece is wonderfully pliable, but this also means it shifts away from a sewing needle like a grown man from a flu shot.
I am pleased with the result. That high school should have a lovable, (and completely washable), news anchor for as long as their teams are called "The Wolves."
