Just curious as if you really think like that about grandparents being left behind.

My BF's father had an accident that left him unable to do much (brain injury), and he has to be in a wheelchair all the time. However, we never leave him behind and help him and walk at his being pushed/rolling pace, regardless of there being a hill or whatever may be. I just guess I find it a tad rude to say everyone in America is an obnoxious asshole is all. I know there are a lot of assholes, but that's not just America, that's Earth.

well I will say this not EVERYONE is an asshole but many are. Look at hte families who dump their parents into retirement homes and then leave them there to wither and die. I might have worded the post badly since I am on pain killers cause of a recent back injury <_<()

Sometimes, it is how people cope. Not saying it is good, but to see someone you love whiter and die.. well that's just traumatic.

yes it is. my family kept my grandmother in our home until the day she died. me and my family refuse to leave ANYONE in those hell holes!

My Bf's mom had both her Mother and Father pass away in the house they live in. They were very old and went in peace, even if it was rough on my bf's mom.

oh yeah it was hard on me my mother my aunt the whole family she was one of those women you couldn't find a thing about her to hate even on her deathbed.

I really don't think she would've been left behind, tbqh. Yes the states is bad, but it's family.
