I've been thinking about the things I appreciate the most in artwork. While I haven't really nailed them down yet, there's a couple that I want to talk about.

Anyone who's known me for a while might know how much of a stickler for anatomy I am. This trait kinda gets me on the bad side of a lot of people on the internet. When I say anatomy, I guess some people seem tot think realism, which isn't really true. Anatomy is more about making sure everything fits together.

Another thing that's important to me is how lively a piece is. I find myself being pretty forgiving of an artwork's flaws if there's a lot of life or emotion present. Just what defines this is kinda subjective. But for me it's in the expression, pose, composition, colors, stuff like that. If that makes any sense. I'm probably just rambling though.
