I was watching my one favourite Sci-Fi show (Actually...probably is the only Sci-Fi show (That isn't a comedy) I actually watch and enjoy watching many times, and I started to think of my one favourite anime & Manga series, and the one character....and after thinking the name Doctor Hooves came to mind, since Chopper is a deer, and as well a doctor. So to fit the name Doctor Who, I added a "w" and dropped the "s", so it looks closer to Who and still sounded like hoove. I just feel I lucked out how it all fit together nicely in one very bad pun. :D Even dressed Chopper as the most iconic of all Doctors...the 4th incarnation, played by Tom Baker, who was the one only Doctor who was known for wearing a hat most the time when traveling, which was perfect since Chopper also wears a hat.

Tenant is the first doctor I really liked since the 1st Baker stopped playing the Doctor. Not saying I disliked the Doctors after the 1st Baker...just when I first got hooked onto the show as a lad, Tom Baker was the current Doctor, and loved his humour and personality.
I did like Tenant and also like Smith....in fact, the only doctor I wasn't a fan of was the 2nd Baker, Colin Baker.

OK, this is too amusing not to fave. I have not watched any of the Dr. Who''s after Sylvester McCoy but the version you based this off of is my favorite as well the same reason in that Tom Baker's depiction pulled me in and as far as I am concerned his was the best version hands down. Heck, as bad as the D&D movie was I stayed with it because I knew Tom Baker was going to be in it and I was not going to leave the theater till I saw him.
Yeah, he really pulled you into the show, playing this really odd character. I saw the D&D movie and didn't realize he was in the movie...well...it was such a long time ago seeing it, I probably can't remember....I don't remember much of the movie, only two of the actors, and that one dies at the end.
