Anyway, Robert (nicknamed hypothetical Robert) and his brother Quinn, who are both characters from the same story as these guys.

Robert has been cursed by a demon to pop out of existence at random times -- but only the existence of other people, he's still very much there. It was going to be a curse that took effect all the time, but the demon half-assed it so it's only sometimes. In some ways, that's worse, though; he can be hanging out with people one minute and they won't know he's there the next. Since the curse only sort of works, people who know Robert really well can remember he's there, but...it's hard for him to even build relationships when there's no telling when people will forget him. The only person who can consistently remember him (besides his parents, though they've basically given up on him) is his brother Quinn. Even then, Robert has to stick post-it notes around everywhere reminding him when Robert's phased out. Sometimes they get around the curse with technology, though, because phones and computers and such aren't fooled by even demon magic. And now that Robert doesn't live with Quinn anymore, since they both like music, sometimes they coodinate DANCE PARTIES via the Internet. :B Like this.

And...technically Quinn's not literally the only person. XD Avalbane and Iora, since they have demonic tendencies (Avalbane has been cursed to turn into the behemoth and vampires descended from demons) can at least always know he's around. But Quinn was the only person Robert had for a long time.

OKAY ANYWAY. I tried some new things with shading here, liked it, decided to keep doing these methods, and am now more pleased with my coloring than ever before. |D Aw yeah.


Robert & Quinn belong to Ivan & Katherine
