This is the concept of Tërrapian race of Lizardland.
Since there are lizards, snakes, crocodilians, dinosaurs and dragons in 3 tribes, where are the turtles? I designed the turtle race, which looks like "green sea turtle" or "box turtle".

There are anthro turtles and tortoises (Tërrapian) in 3 tribes: Shivanians have sea turtles, box turtles, terrapins, and anything greenish. Ka'thnosians have giant tortoises and desert tortoises, any tortoises. Ta'zans have snapping turtles and other dangerous ones.

those Shivanian anthro turtles are responsible, industrious, intelligent and critical-thinkers (fast thinkers) and courteous people, have ability to become shields when in battlefield. In daily lives, they have magical skills in water magic, and they collaborate with Kame'kalians to increase the magic guild and prodution. They can swim underwater for any purposes, faster than walking on land.
Box turtles are about 3 ft shorter than lizardmen, but 2.5 ft wider.
