Hey, how do you make your fur look so furry?

Well this right here is my newest, sketch method. It's not meant to be very clean but it lends itself to things like you see here. Messy is pretty good for these, but I digress.

I actually just kinda pet the lines, pressure sensitivity is my best friend here. also, a trick I use is the complete lack of an eraser in the process. What I do is turn the layer on multiply and use white to "erase" the black where I need it. This makes it so I can actually sketch the fur in like you see here in the fluffy parts. If you take a close look you'll see that I really did just sketch in the finer strands with white but on a multiply layer the white is completely invisible and you can still color under the sketch or what have you.
