Got the parts from a friend who had received them from an armorer he had worked with. The actual construction of the plates was done by myself and Sikes. Sikes sewed the padded gloves in, as I tend to stitch my fingers to things. Much of the armor I post is made from parts bought here and there, and assembled by myself and/or Sikes. I simply don't have dishing forms or metal cutting tech. The whole is meant to approximate the type of padded armor with or without underlying cuirass often seen in the pages of manuscripts like the Maciejowski Bible and Chroniques de France. The research has in itself been an endeavor in the arts.
