first she was a normal robien who was hit by one of Robotnik's machines of high energy, it gave her free will and a mind back but she didn't know who she was.
Robotnik use her saying she was a prototype, he plan to make Robiens into weapon using so he can send them into the Great Forest and in luck a freedom Fighter find them, they be captured or killed.
he left her in a lab forgotten he could not figure out how to do it so he left her there awake unable to move laying on a table in a abandon lab.
untill Dark' found her, he took her put her in a capsule and begin her rebirth.
he promise her 2 things, to awake and her revenge on Robotnik.
time past as her mind downloaded data on all dimensions zones weapons machines and more.
when Warp rings was open up in other worlds, the nanit spy's that floating around all dimensions and in the non Zone cops world computers, hatch and downloaded it all.
Hex's weapons all connect to warp-rings she can get any weapon she need or want that she has built in her program.
her mind was filled and told about heroes and villains all that could stand in her way, yet one person was set as her target by her new master Dark.
Hex sleep in waiting for the day, as the computers get all complate to 100% she grow closer and closer to taking her first steps to be the ruler of everything, everyone and all things yet to be.
