Ooh nice interpretation, it sounds funky... wholly different from my (go to 1:50) much more boring interpretation.
What was the mono synth you used, it sounds cool, also yay for the Farsifa. Though as an aside, wasn't the piece originally written by Jeremiah Clarke?

Wows! Lotsa trills!!! I've never heard it played that way - not boring at all! And I love that harpsicord sound! (I got to play an actual harpsicord two or three times...)
Yeah, I was heavily influenced by Walter/Wendy Carlos - so I have continued on, synthesizing baroque/classical pieces.
I have no idea what the name of the mono synth was - in fact I'm not even sure that it had a name! It had a beveled row of tab-like stops along the top of it - I remember they were red and green and yellow and white. It had some knobs on the left side of it. And it was heavy! It weighed at least 20 pounds! I've got a picture of the synth and Farfisa somewhere...can't find it right now though.
Another famous song not written by Purcell?!? Sheesh! What did the guy write! Perhaps he was hanging out with Shakespeare or somethin...

Well he did write a lot of music... just not that many voluntaries and trumpet tunes. :P (Also there's a toccatta that's probably not written by him... but let's just say it is.)
The music he did write is very nice though, some pieces of his that are quite nice are Lilliburlero and some very nice hornpipes. And those pieces he didn't write became famous through his name. (Like this trumpet tune, and the ever popular "trumpet voluntary" - I mean who would want "The Prince of Denmark's March" played at their wedding when they could have "Purcell's Trumpet Voluntary" instead?)
I tend toward the "purist" school of baroque music... I like either using replica period instruments or instruments inspired by the time period. Also I find the sound of a harpsichord to be a really nice and interesting sound... itcan be much more varied tonally then the piano (yes, you can change volume on the piano... but you don't have the abilitiy to change between ranks of strings).

Yeah..."Prince of Denmark's March" sounds like the music is already "taken" and couldn't be used for one's own commoner wedding!
I vary between the Clockwork Orange Synthetic sounds and trying to make the music sound as "pure" as possible using the synth I have (not a very flexible one in the way of manipulating sounds, unfortunately).
