When I'm not checking up on my inbox of new submissions or badgering artists with commission ideas, I'm usually hard at work building up on my computer arts skills. It's been almost two and a half years since I've started my Computer Animation course, and with my final year coming up it's a nice chance to reflect on exactly how far I've come from being a complete 3D virgin.

With that out of the way, and deciding to take a break from the real world, I've decided to put my skills to work on something a little more personal! Starting with the most basic of 3D shapes and working out, I've started to build together a character that has been part of a small universe of concepts and ideas that I have been working on little by little with my Online Writing and RP buddy  LeftHeadGrave

This is a quick test render of where I am at the moment with the model. A few little tweaks here and there are required just on an impressions level, especially with some of the fur tufts (either unsmoothing them or just taking them out entirely.) Beyond that, some clothes and accessories left to finish, before I give him a worthy texture!

You guys let me know what you think of him so far! I'd love to get any feedback, or just a quick yay or nay relating to this experiment, or if you think he's looking hot or not!
