Yep you read the title, these are two endangered spieces in Nova Scotia and I took the picture when I was visiting some friends. This was taken along their driveway. A solitary White-Lady's Slipper with a green crab spider poking out from between the "lips" of the flower. I really like this picture, it's the best out of the three I took that evening. I took the pictures around early- mid June.
I think they appropriate name for these flowers should have been "Lady's Vagina" flowers lol cuz they sure look like vaginas. But I bet if it occured to whoever named these, that maybe "Lady's Slipper" was more 'polite'. Oh especially pink lady's slipper, if you folks never seen Lady's Slipper flowers, you should look at better more professional pics online. You can really see what I mean. HAha.
Anyway this is to fill up the time as I havn't been drawing much anthro-related art lately except for the commissions.
