Here's the mid-transformation of Shiro into his cat-form. Making myself practice more with backgrounds, too - even if not uber-detailed, getting the gist and a good backdrop that looks convincing enough - hopefully it worked - and for the sequence it's neat to use one background and then have the figures changing against it kind of animation-style.
