Mary-Rose was not entirely unfamiliar with the world of modelling. Sometimes she'd been called up as a favour to some magazine owner with the promise of a hefty reward but more importantly, the promise of that favour in the future. The Hippo dealt in favours. She had quite a lot of people in her pocket that she could pick out at any time and play that card. Hoarding favours like that were more valuable than any commodity on the market.
Sometimes though, it was fun to do things just for the hell of it. The Hippo would occasionally find a "model wanted" ad. Sometimes she would forget about it and leave it alone. Other-times however, like this one, she would be intrigued by the prospect, the idea and the thought put into it.
This was one of those times.
The magazine in question was putting together a catalogue designed to show off their creations. The advertisement pitted different models in a different area of design. Some would be showing off outlandish and silly costumes while others would be placed into the past.
Mary-Rose wasn't too fond of quasi-fashion, all those big outfits with their silly little quirks were very unappealing to her eyes. So, she placed herself in the past and was quickly told that she would be wearing a classic, well known outfit from years gone by.
Told that it belonged to a famous video game character, Mary-Rose squeezed into it. She wondered how the fabled character was able to fit! Then again she probably wasn't built as heavy as the Hippo. Indeed, once shown a picture of the girl, a blonde, short-ish woman with one heck of an ass, Mary-Rose realised how she made it work. Hopefully she could do the same with her own unique look.
Once inside the shooting room, Mary-Rose did as she was told, laying in a provocative position as several cameras took several pictures from all sides.
I'm good with pun-titles aren't I?
This is actually the first of two pictures I've purchased that feature my Hippo all dressed up as Cammy from Street Fighter. I don't really know how I got this image in my head of her wearing that outfit, but the more I thought about it, the more I knew I had to have some fun with it. Besides, I think she really makes that outfit look good.
GUGGLES told me that Mary-Rose looks really good with pig-tails and I have to say... I quite agree with that. I've got her on the brain again. She's quickly becoming my most drawn character.
Not that there should be any problem with that.
