Topaz looked up from her equipment as a mysterious surge of energy registered on the display. Curious, she searched the building and eventually came upon an oddly dressed visitor. "How did you get here?"
"I don't know," the girl declared. "I was somewhere else a moment ago. Then suddenly I was here, wherever here is."
"Are you all right?"
"I think so. All my fingers and toes are still attached," the stranger stated.
"Are you hungry? Why don't you follow me back to the lab and I'll get you some food." Topaz took the stranger by the paw and led her along the hall. "You know, you look familiar somehow. Like we've met before, but I can't quite put my claw on it..."
"I must have one of those faces." The two siamese cats walked towards the lab together, trying to determine what about the other was familiar.
