Name: Sasgart
Sex: Male
Species: Dramet (ferret dragon, albino colouring)
Size: 1.80m (human)
Country: (Theocracy of Roschka), Kingdom of Ansert
Military Rank: none, former First High General of Roschka
Abilities: Thunder elemental, light magic, Navato (Dark Spear of Decay)
Main Relationships: Aleydon (spouse), Karas (brother-in-law), Rashati (pupil), Endelian (pupil)
Personality: He's a positive, sunny person who is always willing to give a hand to others, despite the pain from his best friend's betrayal. While always showing his wise and comprehensive side, he has a sarcastic streak that occasionally shows up whenever he's annoyed. He is the living embodiment of Roschka's First Law: 'First comes the people', which is why he has accepted to marry his adversary to stop the war between Roschka and Ansert. While he did not expect to fall in love with Ansert's Air Marshal Aleydon, he has come to care deeply for his husband.
History: Born in a family of farmers, Sasgart choose the way of the military to help his parents mantain possession of their land. He quickly made his way up the ranks, thanks to his great ability in magic and strategy. He also finds a great friend in Sareem, a young Lanshen's rider. After the First High General's retirement, Sasgart receives the rank and Navato, a deadly weapon that causes decay to everything it touches. Because of his gentle disposition, he prefers to use magic and keeps the spear sealed into his three earrings. When small fights between the armies of the Theocracy of Roschka and the Kingdom of Ansert, Sasgart is the first one to plead the High Priest to find a peaceful solution.
His best friend Sareem however, corrupted by a member of Ansert's Royal Council, attacks a Roschka's village and kills all the inhabitants, making the blame fall on the adversary army. Because of Roschka's First Law, Sasgart cannot avoid going into battle and meets his strongest adversary, Air Marshal Aleydon, a Sharam (shapeshifting dragon).
However, Sareem's plan is discovered, he is sentenced to death and Sasgart pleads once more the High Priest to stop the conflict. After long talks with Ansert's Royal Council a treaty is finally reached. Aleydon, fascinated by his adversary's strenght and fairness on the battlefield, asks the First Prince to add a clause to the treaty, for the two ranked warriors to stay 'side to side'. Thanks to a small mistake in the phrasing (Aleydon assured him it was a honest mistake but Sasgart still thinks the High Prince's smile was too devious to be totally innocent), it turned into a marriage clause and basically forced Aleydon to put the mating collar on Sasgart's neck.
After the first few months of uncertain glances and awkward talks, the two manage to become friends and then, after a few years, lovers.
Since it was clear that Sasgart would not be returning to Roschka anytime soon, he found himself searching for something to occupy his time with. His problems were solved when he accepted to take under his wing two young men, Rashati and Endelian. Despite dealing with a violent Alpha Igarion and a suicidal Koiranos, he is still managing to teach them something and not get everyone killed in the meantime.
