>>>>Watch the panel on YouTube here: [link]<<<<
Runtime: 1 hour, 20 minutes.
6 part video, approx 13 minutes each- arranged as a playlist.
Currently working on captions for all of them, part 1 is finished. The rest hopefully soon.
Original Post from deviantART August 31:
Going to Nan Desu Kan this year?
Always wanted to know how to make cool cosplays of monsters and animals and Pokémon?
Well then be sure to keep your schedule open so you don't miss this event, SUNDAY September 11th at NOON in the Larkspur room. Due to a mix-up, the event is not listed in the printed conbook.
Your crazy hosts are Riley CanineHybrid, a master-level costumer most recognized for her Pokémon costumes, and joining her is Tom sgtknifeman:, who specializes in armor and prop making. Together we hope to provide an informative and interesting insight into the world of non-human cosplay. This will be our first year hosting a convention panel and hopefully many more to come!
>>>But what if I'm going to miss your panel or I'm not going to NDK!? (Or don't have a time machine)<<<
Not to worry! We will be setting up a video camera to record the whole thing. It will be uploaded to CanineHybrid's YouTube after the convention is over.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
-"Panel": a group of persons who discuss before an audience a topic of public interest
-Aimed at beginners, this is an introductory level presentation
-It is 90 minutes long
-Q&A time will be saved to the very end as time allows
-Any topics we didn't cover you're welcome to discuss with us after the panel
-Our main topics are design, materials/tools, construction, and performance/safety.
