...clear coat. This was a random goofing-off pic I did in '01 that I got a little carried away with. This is also not really canon to the comic story, at least currently. If anything, it's Marcello at a previous job he worked years ago. In the story, he went through lots of random jobs, just to learn new skills. Here, he's applying the final clear coat to a late '90s Ford Contour/Mondeo.

Good question. I've done enough painting to know that even getting overspray on the hair on your arms is deeply unpleasant. Marcello would be a very unhappy camper after this. There's a lot about my comic's universe that doesn't make traditional sense. Especially in that they don't wear shoes.
