So a couple of days ago, Frank Miller (creator of Batman: Year One & Sin City) tweeted that the Occupy movement is "nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists,"
Rather ironic, as his mot well-known work, Sin City, is about a town full of louts, thieves, rapists, whores, murderers, corrupt politicians, corrupt cops, etc, you get the idea.
I thought, if there's one town that epitomizes the point of the 99%ers... The photo seemed the next logical step.
So what other towns could benefit from an Occupy movement?

It was a rather harsh opinion, and rather insulting. I still like his early work, and recently finished watching the animated adaptation of Batman: Year One. I recommend it if you're looking for something Batmany to enjoy. And rather ironic as, in one scene, Batman delivers a line to a gathering of wealthy Gothamites that reflects the 99% movement. Guess a man can change his opinion in twenty years
He was shoot at close range by an American made, Israel designed high velocity tear gas canister.
It is designed to do great bodily harm, just like a rubber coated steel ball bearing is called a 'rubber bullet'.
and when people came to his aid the 'police' threw a flash bang into them and on top of him.
All because he was exercising one of his rights (hurling speech at the offending 'officers'.) under the bill of rights and 'the man' did not like being told he has no cloths.
You sir should consider getting an actual 'real world' education.

You are a sad sad puppy, and in bad need of growing up.
You are make ignorant assumptions about me all the while thinking you 'Know'?' what the real world is all about.
Again a sad example for what passes for general public, spoon fed your 'reality'.
Word of advise; Keep your thoughts to your self and you won't reveal how little you really know.
Go in peace.
END.

I have looked into Mr. Olsen. He forfeited any rights to be called a Marine when he was given a less than honorable discharge.
Simply being a Marine does not make one honorable, you have to strive to maintain and up hold the principles of the Corps. Mr. Olsen failed to do that and he was discharged accordingly. Add to that the fact that he ran a Marine Corps bashing and Antisemitic internet forums, leads me to believe that Mr. Olsen doesn't rates any sympathy from anyone.

So that makes it alright to almost murder him?
No, simply being a Marine does not make one honorable. I've seen too many stories of military folk acting like complete scumbags.
But it doesn't mean they don't have a right to express their opinion. And I doubt any of that mattered when the tear gas canister was flung into the air (o the pepper spray used against the pregnant woman).
This get back to why I was annoyed by Miller's comments. He didn't challenge the protesters' goals or counter their arguments. No, by calling them thieves, louts and rapists, he was attacking the people themselves and trying to imply they didn't have a right to their opinion in the first place.
I've seen this trick before, sometimes used against me. And usually by people with legal training, which should tell you something about this tactic.
Now, I've seen people reply to Miller's comments by stating he's just a comic book writer, or a bad comic book writer who hasn't produced anything of worth in decades. But that's doing the same thing he was. How dare a mere comic book writer have an opinion, especially one we disagree with?
I personally do not care about Olsen, I doubt I'll ever meet him or visit his webpages. I only brought him up to counter the commenter who chose to hide his statements, and also Miller's suggestion that the Occupiers should enlist in the military.
I wonder if I would have gotten the same reaction if I held a sign that said "Occupy Ponyville"?
