Made for a friend. He likes to smoke, but has nothing to smoke with.
Soapstone is hand cared, and the drawings on the bottle were etched into the glass by hand and colored with a sharpie. I don't expect the color to stay on forever, but it looks fine for now.
So yes, you really can make a bong from anything.

I think I spend around 30 or 40 in all on supplies, and of 'corse another 20 or 30 for the bottle for the rum. 'corse I can always get bottles for free if I venture out.
But it's more the pride from having made a pipe yourself. I cannot recommend enough learning the fine art of glass blowing or glass etching.
