but no, they just have a short tail and tall pointy ears when you kinda cut the ears and the tail! the tail is cut when they're just a few hours or days old (the breeders say, that it doesn't hurt them because they're too young to feel pain... here in Switzerland it's illegal to cut off ears or tail or something.

Big love for the natural dobe. Its illegal here in the UK too, thank god. Its sad that people in crop/dock obsessed countries don't even realise these dogs are born with proper ears and a full tail :(

Very cool looking, I'm impressed. I noticed you like critique. The only critique I have is that I know dobies very well and somehow this looks much more like a Manchester Terrier. So much so that I just spent like an hour trying to figure out what really makes one look different from the other in pictures. My conclusion is that for this to look more like a dobie you'd want the eyes closer together and you'd want the legs longer as well as possible making the body look taller. You'd also want the paws to look way less petite. If you are not familiar with Manchesters they are a lot like Miniature Pinchers except they look way more like a shrunken down dobie. They should have gotten the name Miniature Pincher instead of the breed that did.
