At one point there was the possibilty of Whitepelt wielding a pistol in the picture along with the sword. I discarded this idea since it cluttered up the flow of the piece. I did this sketch before coming to that decision. It also let me ponder the question of what an individual who has lived for hundreds of years would think of all these new gadgets that were starting to emerge.
