You are all WEIRDOS.
It's a great time to be a Muppet fan, with the new film coming out next week and a whole slew of things popping up, like cd's, plush (I gots me a Kermit!) and t-shirts. I've been listening to my many Muppet Show cd's, having just snagged one of the rare UK-only releases.
So here, have a tribute to (surprisingly) one of my favorite Muppet charatcers, Sam the Eagle. His dry, no-nonsense approach to everything and constant lament to the lack of culture in today's entertainment just amuses me to no end. He also reminds me a lot of my dad.
As Sam would say, "You are all WEIRDOS."

I was a bit of a Muppet nut when I was in high school as well. I have built quite a Muppet audio and video collection over the years. I even have a few episodes of "Sam and Friends", the very first Muppet Show ever made. I certainly hope the new movie really pays off, unlike that grueling "Muppets From Space" from 11 years ago.

Gonzo and Camilla are my favourites, followed by Kermit and Robin. The new film was surprisingly hilarious and stayed very true to the original spirit of the old Muppets Gang. I had misconceptions ever since they announced it, but was very pleasantly surprised by it. And I've grown kinda fond of Walter too <3
I love the way you've drawn Sam...the perfect dry sarcasm mixed in with his classic expression =D
