My parents' church held an art session today where people could create anonymous Christmas cards for soldiers overseas. There was a huge list of names of service men and women, and we were allowed to make as many cards as we wanted within the time given. There were a huge number of premade tools available (stamps, stickers, etc.), but Whitney and I just sat down with some colored pencils and got to work.
Whitney really got into it and created five total, but I only managed to get through two. Here's the second one.
Sorry for the crappy image quality. I didn't have access to a scanner, so I snapped a pic of it with my iPhone before they were sealed. Bad lighting + small camera.

Have you ever thought about making them into actual Christmas cards. I know Rick Griffon (who does the HousePets comic strip) makes valentines cards with his characters. http://www.housepetscomic.com/2011/.....resher-course/
You could do the same just, you know with Christmas instead.
Oh and I like that you helped out your community I'm sure whoever gets your card would be pleased.

That will be/would have been entirely epic if I had/will receive cards from you two.
I'm in the Navy working aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Ronald Reagan, and I often get random thank you cards from a church in (get this....) Whitney, TX.
During deployments, cards like these give us a little morale boost, knowing that its just not our friends and family who are thinking about us, but total strangers who support us emotionally.
So again, thanks to you and congrats to the lucky guy/gal who gets this. ^^
