I baked some "potato chips" for Ronny, since he's on a very restricted diet.
Recipe!
1. Preheat oven to 250 degF. Or, if you live in Phoenix in August, simply leave your car in a mall parking lot for a few minutes.
2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. No spray!
3. Use a slicer thing to make really thin poker chips of sweet potato. Has to be sweet potato, doesn't work well with Russett, they tend to curl up.
4. Lay down a single layer of tater slices on the foil.
5. Throw in oven/car for 2.5 hours.
6. Enjoy!
The potato slices will shrink during cooking, and the foil will cause the bottom sides of the chips to turn this evenly burnt golden color. Taren² (Taren Squared?!) thought they looked like gold coins and became very possessive of them! Here we see a pinkish, floppy-eared dog trying to sneak away with a chip, since they were intended for dogs anyway! He is being attacked oh no *hide*
GET AWAY FROM MY HOARD. IS MINE!!!
