The beak is finished, sanded, primed; needs another coat or two and a sealant. Since this shot, I've added an elastic to help hold the weight of the beak where it belongs and have added the hinge to keep it closed. I'll be washing the balaclava soon after I finish out the beak, then on to DTD and "furring" :)
