Per LeathurKatt's advice (see the first Claddagh that I drew on my hand) I drew this one out on paper. So no licking required ^^ I like the knot I used around the edge. Much nicer looking than the simple one I had on the original. I probably need to ink this but if I do I'll just edit this submission. For those that don't know what this symbol means it's a celtic symbol (duh) that can be defined as follows: Hand Signifies Friendship, the Crown Loyalty, And the Heart Love. (pulled from another site) and the title that I have on this typically goes along with it. According to the site that I pulled up for info it says that the original saying that went with the Claddagh is: With these hands I give you my heart and I crown it with my love. and that when you wear the Claddagh ring with the heart facing out it means that your heart is available or that you are single but if you wear it with the heart facing in toward your palm it means that your heart has been given away and that you aren't single. So there's another tidbit of celtic symbolism. Hope ya like it.
