|t's part of a series of paintings featurning birrds marked like familiar garden birds. They were originally inspiried by a pair of bluejays that bred in my back yard and beat the crap out of anyone who ventured there. I thought they were just like little dragons and painted them as such. As a bird watcher it was a way to combine my love of dragons and birds. Thus.
