In the online game, Champions Online, I have been asked several times, and even teased, on my main character's looks. I have been asked if my character, Lord Dan (aka D. Dan), is a duck, chicken, raven and many other things.
( Character Lord Dan shown here: http://www.champions-online.com/cha.....es/240048/view )
A few of those in the game that I am acquainted with occasionally tease me in a playful like way, intentionally calling me a duck. One guy even greets me, or refers to me, with 'Baby Duck' or even 'Duckling'. LOL. ^\/^.
In the alternate, non Champions Online, universe of my character, D. Dan is not a lord yet. And he works with many fellow nights and has a number working under him. Though he feigns stupidity and care free like behavior to make his enemies underestimate him, he is not one to take underestimation, nor names from any of his fellow knights, much less his subordinates.
While changing in the men's locker room at a training facility for knights, one of D. Dan's subordinates was joking with another of D. Dan's subordinates while D. Dan was nearby. He jokingly said that 'The Lordson looks and acts like a baby duck'. D. Dan, having clearly heard what was just said, took it as a sign of insubordination, rebellion against his leadership and an attack on his very honor as the regal son of a high noble. In response, he quickly went up to his subordinate and took him out with one solid punch, with teeth flying, thus showing him the error of his ways and why he is the leader. Huzzah! ^\/^.
Just to note, the big guy being punched out is the same one in the picture Wonder Weather ILA http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6702436 and is the one on the far left handed side sporting a slightly different fur cut on his head. Also to note, in the last picture, though everyone looks to be the same height, D. Dan is actually standing on a box to better feel the cold breeze. He is actually shorter than the others. LOL. ^\/^.

I know just how you feel,Dan. This past Halloween I was manning the door in suit, and there were parents who were telling their kids I was a duck. I went into a short explanation that ducks have flat bills, eagles jave hooked beaks the first few timed, then just groaned inwardly and kept my beak shut about it the rest of the night, since I was noticing it was mainly one demographic group that was making the misidentification.
