This is a story I wrote...oh, years and years ago. It was submitted and published in Canadian Fur Magazine(One of the first issues I believe. I still have a copy with my published story stashed away).

Comparing it to stuff I've written (or tried) recently to write, I can see points that irk me (repeating the same word multiple times in a sentence or paragraph; I usually try to avoid that), and parts that made me smile as I remembered writing them.
