In 2011 I corrected the image, adding shadows, making them deeper, making the whole picture brighter, and, finally, remedying the mistakes in the cub's face. Also, the structure of the lumber is much more readable.
I like his emerald eyes and expresson. I think that the tree bark's twirl also increases the expression that painting contains.
