*Has just gone through your gallery and learned Mathius' story.* My god. What a horrible start to life. Scares me to think about what could have caused the wounds on him but it's clear from the pictures today that life is nothing but a distant memory. You've done a great thing for this little guy. Rescued pets I have found are so much more loving then bought pets.

I had an orange tabby much like him years ago. Found him behind a dumpster fighting with other cats for food. Sadly I never took him to a proper vet and I didn't know he had feline luekemia. But I gave him a better life then he would have.

Give that sweet boy an extra hug for me. :3

i havent had him tested or anything yet. i just dont like the vet here- only one for about a 40 minute drive. so im waiting to find a better one once my husband enlists.

im so glad i found another rescue parent :3 im sure your kitty loved you to bits for taking him in and giving him a better life ~ we need more people like you in the world~

Yuck! 40 mins is way too far for a vet you don't like. I would definitely wait a little bit to find a better one. Also they can be expensive. :/

Hehe yup. After my cat Boo (the one I just mentioned) I couldn't see myself buying a cat or getting a free kitten. About a year or so after putting him to sleep my husband and I went to our local pet shelter and adopted two kitties. I feel as though I wasn't the best kitty parent but I did give him a better life. But thank you the world needs more people like -us-. Don't forget you brought Mathius in and gave him love and attention. Not to mention a gallery full of pics of hims. Which reminds me. I have no pics of my babies up here. D:
