a commission for ikarusbear, of their bat girl character.
i was kind of resistant to do this, because their description was extremely vague. i'm fairly sure i'll wind up doing it again, because it was like pulling teeth to even get the paragraph i got describing her...and the art looks nothing like the pixeled, jpg-artifacty reference i was given. jflaksdfjsaf
well hopefully it's what the commissioner wanted D:

i don't mind if people are vague and go "but do what you like" or "do what feels right"
but when it includes a lot of "DONT DO IT LIKE YOU DID THIS" and "DONT DO IT LIKE YOU DID THIS" it's like jesus man you can't tell me what you want, you can't elaborate on what you don't want, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO D:

it was so frustrating omg. they said "don't draw her face like you draw bats"
but what does that MEAN! does it mean ashido? or suega? or did they get confused and think clockwork is a bat? were they looking at thesi's commish? or poppy's? i bugged and bugged and bugged them to just GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THEY MEANT but they outright refused and just kept repeating "don't draw it like you draw bats"
