he didnt quite know what to make of his cubby, or his new home. this is the second day we had him, and he had his bath and was eating, but not using the liter box. i used the old warm wash cloth- hence the rubber glove on the top of the cubby. at the end of the day he did end up using his potty box, and i cannot even explain how relieved i was for him to do that. that was our first big hurdle with him, and it meant he actually might make it.
you cant see the scab really well in this picture, but it looked as though it had recently been done- whatever happened to him. his tail still had a gaping wound on it, and i had cleaned it as well as i could.

-i have decent knowledge of animal care, when it comes to wounds i had to call my mom to ask her what to do. neosporin was the way to go, that and pray it didnt get infected.
