Hey, these are great! I love these character style studies that people do xD
My favs are... (numbered from left to right): 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12.
#10 is really great, it looks slightly like Noah, but he's pretty different as well... It's not as expressive as him and has an air of "realism", as if he were Noah's link to reality. In contrast, #11 looks really dream-like, AND I LOVE THAT
(btw... sorry about doing this kind of analysis always with your sketches, but I have a lot of fun analyzing characters :c )

No way, I love how thorough you're going about all of this, because it really shows that you care and invest yourself in these drawings!
I personally want Soma to look like 3, 4, and 11! With a mix of hair styles of course. I have other designs in Flash that I'll post up when I get the cast lined up. I'm going to have changes happen to Soma as well in the year that Noah is in a coma. He grows taller than Noah, and matures in an unsettling way, racked with guilt.
The biggest suggestion I got from my teacher is Noah is about grief, and Soma about guilt. For reasons I won't reveal until I'm done with the film!
