I love the professor I have, and so I sit in on his classes and do some of the assignments now and then to keep my brain focused on the things I've learned. Cartoons are srsbiz, yes, yes? It's nothing too fancy, but I'm fond of these characters and looking forward to fleshing them out a bit more.

Kaptain Koala's 'ability' is amplified with a Supersonic Blaster, so it's something like a megaphone that he screeches into, and thus it produces weaponized sound. Kiwi Kid has a squirt gun filled with sticky goo to immobilize the bad guys. So you could say they're both something of blasters.
