...They're misunderstood!
I watched Little Nemo - Adventure In Slumberland recently and felt compelled to draw the Oomps. They're just so adorable!
For those who don't know the movie, go see it! It's pretty darn amazing and a perfect example of a great Western and Japanese cooperation when it comes to animation.
These Oomps (or Bloops as they're called in Dutch) are friendly goblins who got tired of working for the evil Nightmare King. They fled the castle and joined forces with Nemo into defeating the monster. They're fun-loving creatures who have the special ability of fusing together to become various things such as trees or rocks.
My favorites are Oompi because he's cute and kinda reminds me of Piglet from Winnie the Pooh and Oompo because he's this big dog-bear-like creature XD
