This was shot from the cab of my truck about 6 ft away from the stick. Optical zoom, open aperture 2.6 (Aperture priority mode), fast shutter speed, manual focus to dial in the bug rather than the stick or ground and a steady hand ftw. I used a severely abused Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H2. I'm really aching for a higher end camera.
