My boyfriend's getting his gall bladder surgically removed and life has been stressful recently, but I've really taken to knitting as an outlet.
This is the pattern I've set up (sans grid lines) for a blanket I'll be knitting for him, probably as a Christmas present. All colors were sampled from the actual super soft yarn that I purchased today, give or take lighting differences. Each square will be knit to be 2x2", then will be merged to make a blanket roughly 4 1/2 x 4 1/2'. The entire project comes out to 700 pixels, meaning I'll be knitting 700 2"x2" squares (ahhhhhh!). I'll continue to update on this project so long as my fingers don't fall off.

Thanks! I started today and I've already got callouses on my pointer and thumb forming, haha. Mark ended up getting his surgery pushed up to today because he was more sick that usual this week. I'm really relieved though because he's told me that he feels immediately better and that feeling of something being dead in his stomach has gone away. He's a little sore and there's a staple in his bellybutton, but other than that, he's up and walking around like normal.
