Xu Chan's attitude reflects her own rebellion against her strict upbringing. While she enjoys the finer things in life: dating Roger is the one thing she enjoys doing to drive her dad crazy.
Often times though she feels like his baby sitter and wonder if the guy will ever grow up. What holds her back is that if she breaks up with him, her parents will push someone else on her.
Also she is good friends with Lola ever since childhood; but is often the brunt of her incompotence and 4th wall shenanagins.

Quite a conundrum for Xu. Date Roger or someone fixed up for her. Decisions decisions. XD
