The prick is right. Brian's always got a fur up his ass about something.
The interesting thing about Brian is the more I start rewriting the backstories. I am even thinking that Chris metBrian during basic military training: and the two absolutely hated each other.
Until deployment when through reasons only God can explain, Brian saves Chris's life. Of course he's back to being an absolute dick afterwards.
Another reason he's a prick is because Brian's parents never did like him. So he joined the military to escape them. When coming back from deployment, Chris kinda felt sorry for him and felt he owed him for saving his life. So he took Brian back home with him.
Of course Brian's irritable nature and hots for Ruth gets on Chris's nrves quit a bit.

Interesting backstory. Could work too given current events too. Glad you like it. :)
